A loan of $1,025 helped to buy a computer and books for her education.

Elizabeth's story

Elizabeth, 26, is single and is studying for a degree in Information Sciences at one of the most well-known universities in the city of La Paz. Elizabeth works to pay for school. She has a store in the neighborhood where she offers basic need products to her customers. This is her first loan with this institution. Elizabeth is going to use it for school expenses such as buying a computer and paying for books related to her higher education.

Elizabeth faces challenges with school such as a lack of economic support from her parents, and having to work and study, which makes things difficult. However, she has a desire to keep improving and finish her degree to work in her field living in the Munaypata area. Her dream is to graduate as soon as possible so she can work and, in this way, have more income to help her family and siblings move forward.
