A loan of $1,000 helped to purchase tools and materials to do his work more efficiently and pay for his graduation costs.

Deybi Josué's story

Deybi is 26 years old. He is a well-known person in his community for the work he does doing preventative maintenance and fixing computers and computer equipment. He grew up with his parents and still lives with them, since he has dedicated most of his life to his schooling. He is currently in his last year of university in the city. He studies three days a week and spends the other days working to repair and maintain computer equipment.

He has five years of experience repairing computer equipment. He learned it from his older brother, who now lives in the United States. He taught him to work, and motivated by the profits and his customers, Deybi decided to continue the business his brother left. He is in his last year of school to graduate with a technical degree in Computer Systems and Networks. This will allow him to provide a better service with his business, which is located six kilometers from the town.

He will use this loan to purchase tools and materials to do his work more efficiently and to pay for the graduation costs for his degree. This will allow him to see his dreams become a reality. In the future, he hopes to have a larger location for his business where he can hire two more people to provide better service. This will allow him to have better profits and he will be able to repay the loan and request a new one to expand and improve his business. He wants to purchase a vehicle so he can also provide his services to schools he would need to travel to, since it is difficult to transport his work materials.
