Nargiz's story

Nargiz is 52-year-old married woman. She lives with her husband and mother-in-law in the Chiatura district. Her mother-in-law is provided with a retirement pension, and her husband gets orders and works as an artisan.

The income of the family is not enough to cover everyday expenses. Nargiz decided to start her own business and requested a loan. The Start Up program, a joint initiative with Kiva and Credo, enables her to get a loan of 1,500 GEL to start a trading business.
