Gloria Amanda R. C. is a single mom of two children, aged 13 and 9. Gloria is a member of the community bank, Juanito. She supports her family by selling cheese and potatoes. Every Saturday and Sunday, Gloria travels to the local markets to sell her goods. Monday through Friday, Gloria travels to Lima to package food to export to Spain.

She will use her loan of 2000 soles ($675 USD) to purchase bus tickets for her weekly trips to Lima, and also to purchase cheese and potatoes. Currently, Gloria is saving in hopes of purchasing her own land to build her own house and to purchase a car to travel back and forth to Lima.
