A loan of $1,000 helped to buy a sewing machine, iron and fabric.

Nahdha's story

Nahdha is a fifty-six-year-old widow and mother of three. After her husband's death she had hard time supporting her family. Fortunately she had an old sewing machine to work on. Since then, she has built an excellent reputation in the neighborhood, thanks to the quality of her work and affordable prices.

When she heard about Izdiharona's qard hassan product (without interest) for widowed women, Nahdha took a loan to replace her old sewing machine, buy an iron and fabric to reduce her work hours and increase her profits. She is aiming to increase her profit and open a big sewing factory.

The story of Nahdha and her sewing business is just one of the many examples of Izdiharona for economic development's clients. She preferred to blur her face for cultural reasons.
