A loan of $1,125 helped to cover the costs of obtaining her title for graduating from the university.

Damaris Concepción's story

Damaris Concepcion is 53 years old, married, and the mother of Lucila Dayan. They reside in Managua. With great effort in her work as a teacher in primary school, and with the help of her husband, Damaris has covered their household costs. But it is difficult to pay the fees for a university diploma for Lucila. Damaris and her husband have paid for the studies of their daughter, a young entrepreneur who dreams of obtaining her university title in order to become a 'licenciada' in international relations.

This is the reason that Damaris is requesting a loan through Ceprodel – to pay for the university 'title' of her daughter Lucila, and to help her avoid obstacles in finding employment and improving her condition of life. For the last 4 years, Lucila has worked hard in her studies and she dreams of continuing to study, developing a specialization.

In the photograph, we see Damaris on the left and her daughter Lucila on the right.

Damaris commented, “I am grateful for the help you provide, and I hope that you can continue helping young people reach the goals of completing and obtaining their professional titles.”
