Mrs. Chit C., age 31, is married and has two children, ages 6 and 14, who are enrolled in school. She started a business in 2002 selling a variety of vegetables in the market. She earns at least $3.50/day in revenue from her business.
Her husband is motor-taxi driver who transports passengers to different locations in the town, earning around $5/day for his household.
To make her business more profitable, Mrs. Chit C. would like to request a loan from KIVA via CREDIT MFI to expand her inventory. With the rest of the money, she will use to buy a new motorbike for her husband, because his current motorbike is frequently broken and costs her family a lot of money.
