Meas's story

Mrs. Meas K. is a farmer in Boeng Kranh Village in the Takeo Province. Her husband, Mr. Un Sorn, uses his motorbike to carry a cart which is used to transport goods and passengers for a fee. Mrs. Meas K. is 50-years-old and the mother of four children. Two are employed in a garment factory while the remaining two are enrolled in the local school.


Although Mrs. Meas K.'s family members are employed in different businesses, they still cannot support their family. Mrs. Meas K. decided to ask for a loan to buy a cow for breeding. She hopes to increase her income after she sells that cow. Her husband is on the left of the photo.
