Marisa's story

Marisa is a 28 years old married woman and has one child who is in school. She and her family survived super typhoon Haiyan which swept through the Philippines last November 8, 2013, but her business and family home was wiped out. Marisa is taking out a housing loan amounting to Php 9500 to purchase building materials and pay for construction labor to build a house for her family. Marisa has been an NWTF borrower since 2012. She plans to recover through her livestock raising business. With your help, Marisa can rebuild her house and rebound from the devastation of super typhoon Haiyan. In future, she would like to save enough money so she could afford to send her children to college.
