A loan of $1,000 helped to purchase 4 calves.

Antonio's story

Antonio is 46 years old, has a 6th grade education, and has a stay-at-home wife. Together with his wife they have 5 children, three of which live at home (one in school) and the other two live in homes close to him.

Antonio has worked for a soda distributor for 7 years. He found that job by the recommendation of a friend, and since then Antonio has worked in the warehouse. He also works with buying feeder cattle and selling them. This is how he has income from selling cattle. Antonio works in the soda business from 4 pm to 6 am, which is an all-night shift.

He will use the solicited loan to buy 4 calves. This will help him because in the future they will grow and have a calf and he will sell them, and this is where he will gain income. This will help a lot since his wife is in charge of taking care of them.

Antonio's dreams are to keep working in the industry and also to have cattle for the family to get involved. And when the cattle become cows, he wants to obtain income from their milk. They will accomplish this with sacrifice and lots of work so that their children can overcome, he can give them an education and they can become professionals in the future.
