A loan of $1,025 helped to pay for parts and to cover maintenance costs of her computer shop.

Alma's story

Alma is thankful for the financial assistance extended to her in the past. She was able to buy the spare parts needed in her computer shop. Her loan helped not just in her business but also in the education of her children. Her income from business is assisting their everyday household expenditures. She and her husband are working hard to provide for their everyday needs. She would like to apply for another 45,000 PHP loan to buy parts and cover maintenance costs of her computer shop. Her profits from her business will definitely help her to sustain the daily needs and educational expenses of her children. She looks forward to this financial assistance with gladness and thankfulness in her heart. Alma dreams to be more successful in business and hopes to give her children a good life and education. She meets with her co-fellowship* members to share stories of her life and business every week and to draw strength and inspiration from the Word of God she studies. * All CCT community partners/clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, to build social capital, and to repay microfinance loans.
