A loan of $675 helped setting up a restaurant and purchasing provisions.

Afi's story

Born in 1971 in Kpévégo in southern Togo (Zio Prefecture), Afi B. is married to a mechanic and has two children in her care. Her primary occupation is the preparation and sale of food products in her village. To meet customer demand and the expectations of her clients, Afi is requesting a loan to turn a good location into a restaurant, and to stock up on rice and corn. This funding would enable her to show a profit from her business and to attend to her children’s education.
