A loan of $500 helped to purchase more stock.

Hazel's story

Hazel, a 20-year-old woman who lives in the town of Mt. Darwin, Zimbabwe, volunteers at a community hostel for girls who walk long distances to school. Hazel also rents a stall at the local flea market where she sells clothes, bags and shoes. She started her business in 2013 to support her three siblings.

Hazel is very proud of what she has achieved so far in her business and would like to expand it. This loan from Kiva will allow her to increase her stock of jackets, shoes, shirts, skirts, dresses, bags and shoes to sell. She hopes to raise enough money to support her three siblings.
