Mnera's story

Mnera is 42 years old, not married and a mother of 2 children. Mnera has a secondary-specialized, medical education and works as an orderly. She has been involved in animal husbandry since 2007. Thanks to Mnera's hard work, today her business contains 1 dairy cow, 2 calves, 10 sheep and 17 goats. The monthly income amounts to 10,000 som (KGS). In order to further develop her business, Mnera requested a loan in the amount of 60,000 som (KGS) from the "Bai-Tushum" Bank to buy cows in order to increase livestock headcount. After the purchase, the cows will stay on her farm. Mnera plans to invest the earnings from the loan into further increasing livestock quantities and saving money to educate her children, and to buy a car.
