Agines's story

Agines is from Lori region of Armenia. She trades in clothing in a small rented store. Agines's only son is a migrant worker in a neighboring country.
Agines lives alone and works hard to develop her business and gather more income so her son will be able to come back to his family.
The requested loan will be a great support for Agines to purchase new stock of clothing to sell to customers. She has been approved for a loan within the framework of a new joint initiative between Kiva and SEF International. The program provides start-up loans with soft conditions to informal businesses that do not have access to credit products.
