A loan of $500 helped purchase agricultural supplies like ammonium sulfate and herbicides.

María Guadalupe's story

María is 34 years old and has a ninth grade education. She is happily married and is responsible for the care of her seven children who are between the ages of 5 and 20. Her husband works in agriculture and sometimes as a day laborer. María enjoys working in the fields and helps her husband with his agricultural work. In her free time, she also makes clay dolls to sell during the christmas season. She has 15 years of experience making these dolls.

The loan will be used to purchase ammonium sulfate and herbicides, supplies that she needs to prepare the land where she grows corn. Her biggest dreams are to see her children with jobs so that they can take care of themselves, and to repair her home.
