José Rodolfo's story

Jose is 49, he lives with this five children, ages 18, 14, 12, 5 and 3. Two of the five help him to work the corn field in their free time. The others study in the village's school. His wife takes care of the housework.

Jose is a hard-working man and dedicated to his family. He has worked in agriculture since he was 10 years old, working beside his father who taught him to farm the land. Besides farming the land he also works as a laborer in the same line of work, earning an additional income to help his children.

The loan he is requesting is for the purchase of two 100lb bags of urea and two 100lb bags of sulfate to fertilize the crop in its first and second stages. For the planting of the corn, he will also purchase half a truckload of manure to mix with the fertilizer. This technique will allow for good management of the crop, improving its production and in this way increasing his income and also allowing him to extract his basic grains to give his children a good nutrition.

Jose wants to continue producing basic grains, expressing that it is lovely to work in agriculture.
