A loan of $2,775 helped a member to buy vegetables, meat, condiments and more.

Mujeres Emprendedoras Group's story

The committee was formed in 2009 and it is a very hard-working group that has been fighting and working for several years. In addition to the independent work of each woman, they also carry out activities as a group. At the same time, they help each other reach their goals which is to work to support their families.

One very touching story is that of Maria who makes a living selling food in the afternoon while in the morning she is a housekeeper. Nowadays, she is a widow and she finds herself struggling alone, but pushing herself to be able to work and come out ahead.

She is requesting this loan to be able to buy goods to make an assortment of food, such as vegetables, meat, condiments and more. All of the women are thankful for the opportunity they are getting to continue growing and fighting.

In this group: Ramona, Alcira, Maria, Paulina, Gladys, Ramona, Gladys, Perla, Aquilina, Alicia, Isolina, Estela
