A loan of $425 helped to buy live chickens.

Lilian Jazmin's story

Lilian is a young, determined woman who is 22 years old. She sells seasoned chicken in order to financially support the costs of her home and to raise her three children, one of whom is in primary school, and the two youngest who are not yet old enough to go to school. Lilian only studied until ninth grade, which has made it hard for her to get a job. However she still works hard with her husband, a young man who works as an assistant mason: a pretty difficult job.

Lilian has sold chickens for about 11 years, because she has been helping her mother sell them in the market since she was 12 years old. Lilian also worked as an assistant housekeeper until she decided to start her own business.

With this loan you will be helping the client buy a certain amount of chickens, since she buys them live and sells them seasoned. Right now it is difficult for her to get the money to continue working.

In the future Lilian wants to have a farm where she can have chickens to fatten and laying hens, so she can save to have her own home, as she currently do not live in her own home.
