A loan of $800 helped to buy manure and fertilizer to assist her crops.

Nolvia Aracely's story

Nolvia ia a young worker of 30 years old. She is married and lives in her own home with her husband and two children, one of which is attending school. Nolvia completed her primary schooling. Nolvia has farmed for 8 years, specifically growing coffee. She learned this as a child from her parents and she and her husband have a lot of experience in the field. The land they work is hers inherited from her parents and is 100 meters from their house. They work together to fertilize and clean the land.

Nolvia hopes to get an excellent harvest as her household depends on this activity. She sells her product to middlemen who come to the area. She also grows aloe Vera on a smaller scale which also brings buyers to her door.

Nolvia needs a loan to buy fertilizer, manure, foliar sprays, and plant growth formula for her harvest to provide the support and technical assistance her crops need. Nolvia dreams of a future expanding and strengthening her plantation to increase production and increase her income to pay for her children's education. She wants them to have better opportunities than what she had. She thinks she can achieve her goals if she gets the loan she is requesting. She will take maximum advantage of these resources and reinvest part of them in her farm which is the source of her income and the patrimony for her children.
