Bandlakazi's story

Bandlakazi is a 19-year-old businesswoman living in the Matobo District of Zimbabwe where she has been successfully operating a small flea market shop selling children’s clothes.

In addition to being an entrepreneur, Bandlakazi volunteers as a Camfed Learner Guide in local schools where she teaches students life skills education.

With the requested Kiva loan Bandlakazi intends to order more children’s wear, ladies' wear, jewelry, and cosmetics so that she can benefit from increased sales and profits. With additional profits, she hopes to expand into a big shop and improve her family’s lifestyle and pay her fees for further education.
