Itai is a 32-year-old, divorced lady with three children. She resides in Buhera District, Zimbabwe. Itai volunteers as a Camfed Learner Guide, teaching life skills education in local schools in her community. She also volunteers as a health trainer in her community. In addition, Itai rents a table at the local flea market, where she sells products such as bags, shoes, jeans, shirts, skirts, tracksuits, and T-shirts. She has been running this business for one year now, and it has enabled her to support her family. With the Kiva loan, Itai will purchase more bags, shoes, jeans, shirts, skirts, tracksuits, and T-shirts to increase her supplies. Her hope is to grow the business and build several shops of her own. This will bring stability to her business, and will enable her to grow in her business endeavors. She started her business to sustain her life, and to provide a good education for her children.
