A loan of $800 helped to buy potatoes, carrots, meat, corn, condiments and oil to make traditional bites and basic products for her store.

Rosa Lidia's story

Rosa is a 42-year old woman who studied up to fifth grade. Due to her family financial limitations, she could not continue her studies. She lives with her husband, who works as a policeman, and their 9-year old son, who attends third grade. She and her husband contribute to household expenses, including his son's tuition. Rosa works in a small business selling traditional food products that she and her husband have been able to sustain. She also does household tasks at home and takes care of their son when he is not at school. She sells her products in the school's cafeteria everyday and the store is located in their house. She is requesting a loan to Credicampo and plans to use it to buy potatoes, carrots, meat, corn, condiments and oil to make traditional bites and basic products for the store. She expects to cover household expenses and tuition for his son. Rosa has always wanted to expand the business and guarantee a better future. She would like to provide his son with college education so that he can have a better life and thinks that this loan is a great opportunity for her family.
