Tukwatanise Group's story

Janat is a 33-year-old resident of Muhororo Town in Uganda, who has three children. Since 2005, she has been selling fresh foods and agricultural produce in order to diversify her sources of income. She has approached Ugafode for a loan through the group so that she can buy a fridge, which will help her to keep her perishable foods and fruits in good condition. Her dream is to educate all her children but she also says that she is challenged by a lack of capital. Janat describes herself as hard-working lady. She thanks Kiva lenders, Ugafode and the group members for partnering with her.
