A loan of $275 helped to buy a good variety of greens and vegetables for her store.

Marta Cecilia's story

Marta is a young woman who is 36 years and who has had to negotiate a variety of difficult circumstances. At first she worked selling products from a catalog and then she ran a store in a nearby village. Unfortunately, the owner of the store passed away and she had to look for another way to support herself and her daughter.

Taking advantage of the experience she gained, she decided to start her own business and opened a grocery store which up to now has been well recognized in the area and is doing well. She is now asking for a loan so that she can buy a good variety of greens and vegetables for her business, offering more of a variety to her customers and satisfying their needs. Her big dream is to have a mini-market where she can offer an infinite number of products and food items, and to open yet another store for a little extra income to support her family.
