Léopold is part of the group Majambere and lives in Bujumbura. He is married to Pélouse, a merchant. Together they have eight children, from 14 to 17 years old, of whom four are students. He is adopting a child, who is in school.

Léopold has been doing commerce in fish (ndagala) for three years.

This is his first Turame loan. With the KIVA loan he is obtaining, he is going to increase his capital and purchase a large quantity of fish (ndagala) to resell, so as to earn more.

In the coming years, he would like to become an importer and see his children educated.
