A loan of $2,200 helped a member to purchase superior feed for her pigs.

Jempiring Group's story

Ni Wayan and all member of Jempiring group make their payment to MUK and they agree to borrow an increased loan amount. They expect MUK will continue to support them in terms of capital and training.

Accompanied by her husband, Ni Wayan runs a pig bussines. Her husband is very thorough at keeping the pigs. She also has another side job as a farmer. The profits from the pig business are set aside to purchase seeds for their garden and also for savings.

Ni Wayan and the Jempiring group will receive their third loan with the same members. Each member will receive 2.500.000 IDR. They will use their loans to improve the pig businesses, purchase superior piglets, local piglets and feed. Ni Wayan use her loan to purchase superior feed only, because she still has pigs and sows remaining in her cage.

Ni Wayan lives with her husband and a toddler. She expects an increasing in her standard of living from pursuing this pig business.

Two members were unable to attend the meeting because they had a religious ceremony at the temple.
