Gulmira's story

Gulmira is 44 years old, married, and, together with her husband, is raising 3 children. Gulmira has a secondary education. Her work in animal husbandry, beginning 10 years ago with the purchase of a single cow, serves as the main source of income for her family. Thanks to Gulmira's hard work and dedication, she now has 3 milk cows, 1 steer, 2 calves, and 15 sheep. Her monthly income is 20,000 KGS. WIth the goal of expanding her business, Gulmira turned to the bank "Bai-Tushum" for a loan of 120,000 KGS to purchase sheep for breeding and for eventually sale. With the income from the loan Gulmira plans to save towards increasing the number of cattle in her herd, and hopes to save towards home repairs.
