A loan of $425 helped to purchase more slippers, Lappa (fabric), copy books, and many items to sell.

Satta's story

Satta is 45 years old and lives in Congo Town. She’s single and has three children; they all live with her parents and are all in school.
In 2003 Satta started selling slippers, Lappa (fabric), copy books, and many items from a table. What she actually loves about this business is that she’s self employed. She’s requesting a loan to purchase more slippers, Lappa, copy books, and many items to sell in the local market. She hopes to build her own house.
