Busara 1 Group's story

Sauda was born in the early 197'0s and has four children. Two attend school. She is a widow. For the past 20 years, Sauda has managed an establishment that provides food, including breakfast, lunch and dinner. She also runs a wood and motorbike transport business. Sauda has helpers and her business opens at 5:00am and closes at midnight, daily. She earns a very good monthly profit. From Tujijenge Tanzania, this will be Sauda's 12th loan request. She wants to buy cooking ingredients and restock wood to resell. Sauda used previous loans to maintain her businesses with stock and she has repaid all previous loans. With her profit, Sauda will cover school fees and her family needs. She is doing great and thankful to everyone who has supported her group members. In the coming years, Sauda would like to expand and improve her businesses. Sauda will share this loan with her loan group" Busara 1," which includes two members. Members of the group will hold each other accountable for paying back the loan.
