Tity's story

Greetings from Sierra Leone! This is 32-year-old Tity from Waterloo, a western rural town in Freetown. He is married with three children, two of whom are going to school. He started a business to change his status of living. Tity runs an auto parts store within a busy market area; he sells motor bike spare parts, engine oil and different kinds of spare parts. He has been running this business for eight years. He works at the business from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m., six days per week. Tity says that the main challenges to his business are price inflation and delays in receiving supplies. Tity has requested a loan in order to purchase more motor bike spare parts, motor oil and different kinds of spare parts. The extra income from this loan will allow him to open a savings account and take care of his family's welfare. In the future, he plans to become a wholesaler. He thanks you for your support!
