A loan of $325 helped to buy used women's and children's clothing.

Lluly's story

Lluly, Banco Comunal "La Libertad" partner, lives in San Martín department, Bellavista province and district, Centro Poblado Menor de La Libertad. She is 27 and lives with her husband and two dependent children, who are the motivation for her constant struggle. Lluly is a nursing technician, but does not work in that field and now sells used women’s, men’s and children’s clothing out of her home. She decided to start this type of business because her neighbours are field workers and buy used clothing for their work.

With this 1,000 sol loan, which she will repay in six months, Lluly will buy used women’s clothing, such as sweaters, blouses and pants, and children’s clothing. Then she will be able to fill her customers’ orders.

Lluly is very friendly with her customers and is confident that she can move her business and family forward. Later she would like to have a location where she can build up her business further so that her used clothing also has a great presentation to match her affordable prices.
