Amina's story

Amina is a 36-year-old married Iraqi women. She has six children. Amina opened a grocery store two years ago to assist her husband with their family income. Her son, Ahmed, is in sixth grade. Amina is having difficulty providing the basics for Ahmed and paying for his school expenses. Every year the family faces the problem of making ends meet at the beginning of the study year for the additional expenses that are needed to cover study fees and books. With this loan now, she can accommodate all these expenses for her son, Ahmed, and still cover the other expenses from her income.
