M. Sarwar's story

M. Sarwar is forty-seven-year-old man. He lives with his spouse and one daughter in the area of Lahore, Pakistan. He owns a tailoring shop where he provides the services of stitching tarpaulins for covering vehicles and curtains for shops. He is an expert in his profession and people like his stitched curtains and vehicle covers a lot.

He purchases rexine, cloth and large sheets of strong, flexible, water-resistant or waterproof materials for his shop. He has been running this business for twenty years and has a lot of experience in this business. He is the sole earner for his family. He wants to increase his current tailoring business. For this purpose he needs to purchase more cloth and flexible sheets, so he can stitch more tarpaulin vehicle covers and curtains. M. Sarwar has requested a Kiva loan through BRAC Pakistan, so that he can enhance his tailoring business.
