Konomotomononah Group's story

In the photo are members of the “Konomotomononah” group. They are small scale businesswomen based in the city of Koidu, eastern Sierra Leone. They are requesting a loan of 700,000 Sierra Leonean Leones for each member of the group in order to boost their respective individual businesses.

The featured leader of this group is Finda. Finda is 51 and born in Koidu city where she is currently residing together with her husband and 4 children. Her husband is a farmer and her children are attending primary and secondary schools respectively.

For 13 years now, Finda has been selling market food such as tomatoes and other products. With this loan, she will buy tomatoes, and other products at wholesale to add to her business.
