Shehla's Group's story

Shehla is a 25-year-old lady, residing in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. She is a mother of three children. Her husband is a butcher by profession; he has been running his own meat shop for past ten years. He is the guardian of his family and responsible to fulfill the needs of the entire family and manage the household.

Shehla's husband wants to buy meat in bulk quantity from the slaughter house for resale purposes, but due to some financial constraints he is unable to buy the meat for his business. Therefore his wife Shehla has applied for a Kiva group loan from its field partner BRAC Pakistan. With the help of this loan amount she will financially assist her husband to buy meat for his business and resale purposes.

For this financial assistance, Shehla is very thankful to Kiva and BRAC Pakistan.
