Rose is married with four children and all her children go to school. She also takes care of additional family members (old parents).
She has a business of selling tomatoes and has been in this business for nine months. She has applied for loan of 700,000 UGX from MCDT-SACCO to buy more boxes of tomatoes. She works at the market six days out of every week and sells on a retail basis. Her major business challenges include seasonality and perishability.
She is aspiring to become a wholesaler and also to start growing tomatoes. She resides in a rented house and the family has no access to electricity and piped water. Her monthly expenses include school fees and rent.
