Naili's story

Naili is 39-year-old married woman. She lives with her husband and parents-in-law in a small village of the Sachkhere district. Her family is involved in agricultural activities. In particular, they have a pig, four cows and a plot of agricultural land, where different kinds of vegetables are grown. Naili milks the cows every day and produces cheese to sell as well as for family use.

Naili decided to start her own business. The Start Up program, which is a joint initiative with Kiva and Credo enables her to get a loan of 3,000 GEL for the trading business. With the received credit she will purchase a stock of shoes and then will resell at higher price. The Start Up program will be a great support for the family as they will have a stable income.
