Muhabat's story

Muhabat is 45 years old, married and together with her husband, is raising four children. Muhabat has a secondary education. As the main source of income for her family, she practices crop farming and livestock breeding. She started this business 15 years ago with 25,000 som (KGS). Thanks to Muhabat's determination and hard work, she currently has 2 milk cows, 2 calves and 10 sheep on her farm. Additionally, Muhabat sells milk. Her monthly income is about 15,000 som (KGS) per month. For the purpose of further developing her business, Muhabat turned to Microfinance Bank "Bai Tushum." She is requesting a loan to buy cows. She will also spend a portion of the loan to buy cattle feed. Muhabat is determined to increase the size of her herd in order to fundamentally increase her family's capital. Muhabat plans to invest the earnings from the loan to buy a plot of land on which to sow perennial grasses as it is currently uneconomical for her to buy cattle feed rather than grow it.
