A loan of $925 helped to buy a cow for milk.

Carlos Bolivar's story

Carlos Bolivar, at the age of 56, is a widower. He lives with his children, who are his number one priority. With his loan he hopes to be able to purchase a pregnant cow with a weaning calf. The idea is to take advantage of his pasture space, the favorable land and weather conditions to be able to keep these animals, and at the same time get milk to sell and raise calves to sell for meat in the future. With this purchase he will be able to develop one more source of income, and at the same time have a savings that will allow him to continue keeping more animals and investing further in the property. This is the first loan he has received through FUDECOSUR. He has not had other loans with state banks before, but FUDECOSUR has offered him the loan with better terms and a much lower interest rate.
