Gulsara's story

Gulsara is 47 years old, widow and a mother of 4 children. Gulsara has a high school education. The main source of income for her family is her livestock and farming business, which she started in 2005 with an initial investment of 6,000 som (KGS). Thanks to Gulsara's persistence and hard work, today she has two cows and a plot of land where she grows cotton. In addition, Gulsara sells milk from her cows. Her monthly income is 10,000 som (KGS). In order to expand her business, Gulsara turned to the bank of Bai Tushum for a loan to purchase cotton seeds and fertilizer. Gulsara is determined to obtain a great harvest this year and to increase her income. Profits from her business, Gulsara is planning to use for purchasing of sheep.
