A loan of $975 helped buy clothing, shoes, sheets and cosmetics to sell, in order to pay for her studies.

Dalia Carolina's story

The Narciso del Jesus Credit Group meets each 15 days in Canton Jipijapa, a region known as the sultan of coffee due to its extensive plantings of its coffee, which has an incomparable flavor, and for its gastronomy, and the quality of its people.

Dalia, who is 19 years old and single, resides here. She lives in her parents' house while she is in this city. Also, Dalia is preparing for a career at the university in Guayaquil, where she rents an apartment while pursuing her studies.

Dalia is a very hard-working young woman who, in order to obtain her own resources and, with this, to pay for her studies, is dedicated to selling clothing and shoes from a catalog, plus sheets and Yanbal products (beauty products, cosmetics, perfume, and ladies accessories). Most of her sales are made at her studies center -- her companions are her best customers. Dalia's mother also helps by selling in her locality and Dalia also does this every weekend when she returns to her parents' home and goes out to sell in this city. Thus, she manages to obtain income that helps her forge ahead, since her expenses are considerable and Dalia wants to become a professional.

The loan is for purchasing clothing, shoes, sheets, and cosmetics. This is the Credit Group's 4th loan cycle and they are happy with the available loans. Their dreams are to become professionals.
