Aurelia's story

Aurelia, 60, lives in the district of Zaña, a community located close to the valley of the Jequetepeque river, which has allowed the community to develop through farming, livestock and commerce. It is one hour away from the city of Chiclayo, located in the Lambayeque region, in the northern coast of Peru.
Aurelia breeds and sells animals in her residence. She owns ducks, turkeys, hens, guinea pigs and also cattle. She is an enterprising mother and has asked for a loan from the lending partner, Edpyme Alternativa, in the amount of 3,000 PEN to buy balance feed for her animals and, secondly, to buy more animals to offer to her customers.
