A loan of $1,100 helped to buy food products like rice, sugar, wheat, cereals, conserves and fresh vegetables.

Blanca's story

Blanca is 43 years old, married and has two children. They live with her in a rented house made of solid materials. She sells food goods wholesale and retail in a stall at the local market. Initially she did the same thing but in an informal manner. But along with the other merchants of the area she was relocated into the present market which she occupies with her fellow entrepreneurs.

Blanca started this business 10 years ago having the help of her children and her husband, with the goal of making it their principal source of income. She starts to receive visits from her clients very early. For the main part they are housewives and buyers for restaurants. She offers a variety of products like vegetables, cereals, conserves, and other food products for the preparation of the most popular local dishes and meals.

This is the second loan she has requested from this financial entity and she is grateful for the confidence invested in her. At this time she needs 3,000 PEN to buy merchandise wholesale like bags of rice, sugar, flour, conserves and fresh vegetables hoping to keep her business stocked.
