A loan of $1,100 helped to buy a dairy cow to sell fresh milk to his neighbours.

William Alberto's story

William Alberto is 45 years old and lives with his wife and children in the Cayaltí district, in the Chiclayo province of the Lambayeque region on Peru's northern coast. Here the people make a living in farming, cattle-raising and business.

Alongside his wife, William works raising and selling pigs and poultry. In addition he sells fresh milk and sometimes works as a farm labourer in his neighbours' fields. William is a hard-working father who is putting in the effort to offer his family a better quality of life. He has applied for this loan of 3000 Nuevo Soles in order to buy a dairy cow to sell fresh milk to his neighbours. By doing this, William can earn a higher income for his family.
