A loan of $1,500 helped to purchase more packages of used clothing such as pants, skirts, blouses, T-shirt, shorts and other items.

Maria De Lourdes's story

Maria is 34 years old and lives in her own home with her husband and their young son. Maria has a business selling used and second-hand clothes, offering a variety of items such as skirts, dresses, blouses, pants, etc., out of her home, which is in a busy and well-known area of town. Her sales post is visited often because people always find what they are looking for, and because of Maria's friendliness and, most importantly, customer service. Her dream is to grow her business, which is why she is requesting a loan from Kiva partner Apoyo Integral to purchase more packages of used clothing in order to have a wider selection of pants, skirts, blouses, T-shirts, shorts and others articles. Her goal is to attract more buyers and achieve a higher level of sales and income so she and her family can have a better quality of life.
