Gbenonkpo Tonafa 1 Group's story

Gbenonkpo Tonafa 1 is a group made up of seventeen women, who are friends and live in the same neighborhood. The group's representative, named Florence Nikè, is the woman raising her hand in the photograph. She didn't attend school much.

She's 39 years old and married to a refrigeration engineer named Appolinaire. They have three school-attending children in their care. Florence Nikè and her husband live together with their children, and they jointly take care of the various expenses of their household.

For this reason, she's been selling cosmetics and hair extensions in her area for about seven years. She's passionate about her job, which enables her to provide for her and her family's needs.

She gets her supplies in a market in Benin. Eager to satisfy her clientele, Florence Nikè, together with the other members of the group, is seeking a seventh loan from Kiva's partner, ALIDé. The previous loans were repaid without problems.

In this group: Véronique, Gladys Rosemonde, Cécile, Antoinette, Eléonore, Florence Nikè, Colette Iyabo, Germaine, Djouweratou, Cica Clarisse, Cocou Sylvain C Eric, Danlomè Anne, Adangbo Pauline, Ella, Ginette, Kossiwa, Françoise Yvette
