A loan of $525 helped to buy agricultural supplies to assist her with the maintenance of her coffee crops.

Adeida's story

Doña Adeida is a women with a lot of strength, a lot of energy and hope to move forward and achieve her goals in life, expressing gratitude and respect at her 35 years of age first of all to God for giving her life and many daily blessings, and secondly to her parents for having instilled in her values and principles. She is married and mother of 4 children who live with her, only two of whom study in the local elementary school. For several years she has practiced agriculture, a trade she was taught by her parents and which nowadays she does accompanied by her husband. The crops that they grow together are their own, inherited from her father. They are located in the same area and they travel there to on foot. Doña Adeida studied at elementary school level, but did not finish, completing her first year only as she couldn't continue due to lack of finances.

Her goal is to continue expanding her coffee crops so that they can generate more income to secure her children's future, support her family in everything necessary and be able to help with anything else that they need. For this reason Doña Adeida is asking for a loan with which she will improve her crops by attending to them better using agricultural supplies such as manure, fertilizer, coffee-growing formula, fungicides etc. which will prevent contamination by plagues and disease.
