Rosela Estela's story

Somoto Canyon, one of the oldest rock formations in Central America, has become an impressive site. Its unique scenery is unlike anything else in the country, and among its rock walls you can practice the type of extreme sports activities that get your adrenaline running.

Rosela is 41 years old and married with two children. Ninteen years ago, she became interested in finding a financial alternative that could meet her household's needs. She currently works selling basic grains (rice, beans, corn, wheat), sugar, oil, sweets, and other items. Her next goal is to continue investing in her business by requesting a loan to acquire new products like shoes for men, women, and children, as well as personal items like clothing (shirts, pants, shorts) and cosmetics. She estimates the loan she is requesting will be of great help to her, because it will allow her business to grow and be more profitable.

Her plans for the future are to continue investing in her business so that it becomes a leading business in the community, as well as in the surrounding areas.
