Foday's story

Meet forty-four-year-old Foday from Tombo Western rural area in Freetown. He is married with two children between the ages of two and four. One of his children is currently attending school. In 2005, Foday established his plastic slippers business. He began his business to improve his standard of living. He works at the business from 7am until 7pm, six days a week. He says that the main challenges to his business are the high cost of transportation and price inflation.

Foday requires a loan in order to buy more slippers for resale. He hopes that the extra income from this loan will allow him to repay his loan and grow his business. In the future, Foday plans to build a permanent business place. He thanks you for your support.
